Paid Internships

HCC provides full-time, 10 week paid summer health internships in leading health organizations.

This hands-on experience is the primary vehicle through which HCC provides practical exposure, experience and mentoring to empower students to advance their healthcare or public health careers.

Our programs and activities, such as professional development workshops and networking events, are structured around and build on the paid internship at the host organization.

Many of the top healthcare organizations in the country host HCC interns, including Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, Blue Shield of California, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Bellevue Hospital, UCSF Medical Center, Montefiore Hospital, Health Net and Boston Public Health Commission.

One of HCC’s primary goals is having interns work on projects or in organizations that provide services to under-served and ethnically diverse populations.
