ACCESS TO TALENT
Health Career Connection (HCC) is an expansion of a San Francisco Bay Area based summer internship program that, for over 20 years, has assisted hundreds of undergraduate students gain practical exposure, experience and support to pursue healthcare careers. The Bay Area Program, operated in partnership with the Society of Professionals in Healthcare, has a priority emphasis on diversity; over 80% of the interns have come from diverse ethnic backgrounds (100% in 2001).
