2003 Internship Class

PAID INTERNSHIPS AND MENTORING
HCC internships are full time positions that last 10 weeks from mid-June through mid-August. Interns are paid an average $4000 for the program. Through major sponsors, HCC places interns in prominent healthcare organizations and provides additional networking and mentoring opportunities. Through an apprenticeship model, preceptors mentor and guide interns, sharing their experience and wisdom.

HCC is committed to increasing the number of healthcare leaders and professionals from diverse ethnic backgrounds. While all students are eligible, we strongly encourage students of color to apply. As part of our commitment, HCC offers internship placements in organizations that provide service, change policy or increase access for underserved and ethnically diverse communities.

Students from all fields including but NOT LIMITED TO Health Sciences, Health Care Management and Policy, Business, Community Health, Political Science, Sociology, Public Health, Biology, Biochemistry and Pre-med are welcome to apply for the HCC Internships.

WORKSHOPS AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
HCC interns experience more than just a full-time placement in a major healthcare organization! Interns have the exclusive opportunity to participate in workshops incorporated in the summer schedule, intended specifically for students to refine their career and educational plans and network with established professionals. Workshops include:
