The Health Workforce Imperative

US demographic trends – population growth, population aging, and increasing population diversity, – present an urgent challenge to health systems and our communities. Along with uneven distribution and the aging of our health workforce, these demographic trends are driving an increase in demand for a more diverse health workforce that mirrors the communities they serve.

HCC – The Missing Link

A number of educational enrichment and academic programs have been created in response. Nevertheless, there remains a missing link between education and career success. Recognizing this need, HCC fills this gap by offering a health career focused pathway that combines practical, professional experience with support from a growing network of health employers, educators, and successful alumni of its programs.
